Returning as Chief Intern, Jesse Eisner recently graduated from Tulane Universitywith a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Pre-Med. She completed The Quad Manhattan's Psychosocial Internship in 2025 and is set to lead the 2026 group into success.

Managing Director Ashley Riviere says Eisner was the easy choice for Chief Intern.

"Jesse did a fantastic job last summer," Riviere said, adding, "[Jesse] knows how to connect with kids and will no doubt have another successful experience."

Amelia Barkett, Master's Candidate in Psychology at The New School in NYC shared that the classes she's taken are cognitive or social related, a perfect match for the experience at Quad.

"In [those experiences], I've gained a lot of understanding of the interdisciplinary concepts and helped me understand the processing of emotions and how they present as behaviors," Barkett said.

Rising senior at Barnard College, Rebecca Schiff, says her long-term goal is to earn a PsyD degree and become a licensed child therapist, focusing specifically on children with anxiety, ADHD, depression, and related social-emotional and executive functioning challenges.

"An internship at The Quad Manhattan [will] allow me to apply these skills directly with children in a structured, neurodiversity-affirming setting. The program’s emphasis on classroom-based psychosocial support, tracking behavioral progress, hosting parent meetings, and close supervision by psychologists and other multidisciplinary staff members would prepare me for doctoral-level training and reinforce my aim to work thoughtfully and compassionately with children and their families as a child therapist," Schiff said.
